Decor Inspo: Gender Neutral

If you’ve been following my blog, then you know my best friend is getting married soon (2 weeks, read)! I’m highly considering resigning from any future Maid of Honor “positions”. This wedding has made me just as stressed, nervous, and anxious as the bride, if not more so! So much time and energy are put into the wedding day. But in my opinion, it’s the day(s) after the wedding that’s most important. The day after is when it all hits you –Oh Crap, I’m about to live with someone for the rest of my life! Finding ways to mix and match( or “blend” as I like to call it) different taste in interior design is way more difficult and important than deciding on a color scheme for a wedding, right?! Attempts to incorporate his and her style can tend to turn out either too masculine, or too feminine. The master bedroom is typically the hardest room to make gender neutral, and yet probably the most “important” room… especially post wedding (lol)!  So for today’s post, I wanted to share some master bedroom design inspo. These rooms probably lean more towards the masculine side of the spectrum, but they incorporate feminine elements like plush fabrics, fur carpets and pillows, sleek lamps, and tufted furniture, that in my opinion, make it the perfect marriage of his & her design.
