Manifesto Video: Stephanie Fowler an Indie Publisher

About two years ago… I had an idea to create an inspirational video series that featured local entrepreneurs sharing their story about how they took the leap to start their business, and tips for success. My first feature was on a local writer who quit her full-time, well-paying job (with benefits) to start an Indie Publishing company. After producing the video, my perfectionist spirit got the best of me and I did not release it due to some (minuscule) technical errors.

Almost two years later…  I feel like everywhere I turn, I’m seeing more and more stories like this popping up. Stories about people who quit their jobs to pursue their dreams. Stories that reminded me of the video that I shelved two years ago. A story worth telling regardless of my production pitfalls.

So today… I’ve decided to release the video.

The series is called Manifesto. In essence, a manifesto is a statement that drives you and pushes you towards your goal/mission, and can be adopted by anyone with like-minded ideas and passions. Whether its obligations, money, fear, etc., so many of us have passions and dreams that we may have put on the back-burner for some reason, or another. My hope is that this video series will inspire you to go after those dreams, as well as give you an inside scoop on what it’s like to start your own business. Here’s to taking leaps of faith…Enjoy!
