Guess who still hasn’t put up Christmas decorations… I had good intentions to tackle that last weekend, but such is life. Regardless, I feel like I’m more excited about Christmas this year than ever. I think since D and I didn’t get to spend Thanksgiving with the rest of the family this year, I feel a bit short-changed in the holiday department. So now I’m yearning to be around friends and family and of course, moms Christmas dinner!
I DIY’d these jute plate chargers for the Holiday Guide, and they’ll probably make an appearance on our table this Christmas. I love the amount of texture and warmth it adds to the table setting. And depending on how you style your table, they can add a rustic charm, or a nautical feel to your decor. Per usual, this DIY is simple– all you need is a glue gun, jute rope, and a good Lifetime Movie (which is optional, but helps pass the time as you coil the rope).
